My MyoCycle is amazing. It gives me the ability to exercise, stretch my legs, get my blood flowing, and feel the muscle groups as they are moving with the help of the tense pads. This has been an awesome addition to my workout routine.

– Chris S.

I love my MyoCycle. It allows me to move and stay mobile even being wheelchair bound. Before my mobility issues, I was constantly active. I am the type of person who very much enjoys go-go-going. I cannot do that anymore, but my MyoCycle gives a bit of it back. It allows me to exercise independently after my sensors are on. I feel that fact in itself is priceless.

– Amanda V.

My MyoCycle has been a game changer. Nerve pain has always been an issue. You would not believe the amount of pain that has been cut down due to this machine. I kid you not if you feel burning or any tingling in your feet and use this machine, it definitely helps relieve so much of that pain. I also have the MyoCycle V2 which has the ab workout, I love this feature. I’ve had both of the MyoCycles, either will do the job, but the new V2 is definitely above the other. Highly recommend anybody with nerve pain, looking to tone some muscle, relieve joint pain, and just give a little bit of fun. You won’t be disappointed by this machine!

– Terry W.

I love how my MyoCycle keeps me moving. Makes me feel like I still have a chance to regain what was lost.

– Kelvin V.

I think it’s a great machine it help with exercise. I am using it for muscle tone and to help me reduce spasticity.

– Wanda S.

It gives a sense of security and hope that with dedication and a little hard work you can reach your goals.

– Deborah T.

Using the Myocyle has caused me to gain some confidence. After a couple of weeks of usage, I saw some changes in my legs, whereby they would not stay closed while sitting. I had noticed after using in a couple of weeks, I was not having this issue. All I could say was, WOW!

– Shanda N.

The best option I have ever had the pleasure of utilizing

– Earl G.

“Set up was easy… Very user-friendly. I already see a huge difference in circulation in my legs and feet, and my thighs are showing muscle mass to be returning. I am in love with my MyoCycle!”

-Tracy M.

“I love the MyoCycle. It has increased my strength and endurance. Spasms have even lessened.”

-Lori B.

"I am elated in that I am now able to walk both around the house and outdoors with the use of a rolling walker when previously I was told by an attending physician that I would never walk again."

Jimmie is a 64 yr old man who sustained an incomplete spinal cord injury in a car accident. After being introduced to the MyoCycle in therapy as an alternative to the RTI 300 which he had trouble tolerating, Jimmie has progressed from having no ability to move his toes or legs, to being able to identify a muscle group and mentally trigger it to fire, creating an enormous sense of hope.

NextStep Orlando session 13!
I started today’s session walking with the LiteGait on the treadmill. I then did some sit to stands at the smith machine. While standing I worked on mini squats and holding each squat for 5 seconds before standing up again. I then tried standing up with a wedge under my feet. It was funny when the wedge was forward as I felt like I was standing in high heels. Because I stand on my toes I did find it hard to stand up when the wedge was turned the other way round. I finished my session cycling on the myocycle with electrical stimulation on my legs. I had a band around my waist to help me sit up straighter and I used resistance bands to do some rows.

NextStep Orlando session 4!

I started today’s session playing volleyball while using the myocycle fes bike. Once my legs were warmed up I went for a walk in the pacer. I used the bioness leg cuff on my right leg which uses electrical stimulation to help my leg step forward. I then had a slippy sock placed over my shoe on my left foot as I was able to step forward all by myself!

Next it was onto the total gym for some leg presses. We alternated the stim to go on every other leg press to encourage my legs to still work without the stim. I then used the hip/glute machine with just my right leg. As it’s my weaker leg I need to practice lifting it more. I finished my session on the smith machine working on pull downs with my hands both ways.

NextStep Orlando session 8!
Ending the week on a high after today’s session! I started with a walk on the treadmill using the LiteGait. I alternated between slow and fast speeds to give my legs the opportunity to join in with the steps.
My legs were feeling super active so next I did some free standing. I’m needing less and less assistance with each stand now which is amazing. I was also able to work on some trunk extensions while standing which involved leaning forwards and backwards. It still scares me leaning forwards because I feel that I’m going to fall but my trainer is constantly reassuring me that I won’t.
After holding my stand I tried taking a few steps. It’s crazy how much there is to think about when trying to walk. You have to keep your hips forward, chest up, lean on one leg while trying to lift the other and have a lot of trust in your trainers. I did manage a few steps before my legs got too tired and almost collapsed on me.
I then went to the total gym where I worked on twisting with the medicine ball and throwing and catching at different angles. I finished my session cycling on the myocycle with electrical stimulation on my legs.

NextStep Orlando session 7!
I started today’s session cycling on the myocycle fes bike. While cycling I used resistance bands to do some pull downs. I then used the VitaGlide which is an exercise machine that mimics rowing and cross country skiing. I had added electrical stimulation on my lower back to help me sit up straighter. I worked on sets of rows at different resistance levels trying to reach 1,000 in the glide factor in the fastest time possible. I think my quickest time was around 1 min 19 seconds. I finished my session on the icare which is a motorised cross trainer allowing me to train forwards and backwards in a safe environment. I also felt that I was able to contribute to the movements going forward but I couldn’t quite get my legs to work going backwards.

NextStep Orlando session 6!
I started today’s session playing volleyball while using the myocycle fes bike. I then did some more free standing but this time we added electrical stimulation to my legs. Next we went to the total gym for some leg presses with electrical stimulation however after the first one my legs kicked in on their own so I didn’t need the stim to straighten my legs! I finished my session standing in the standing frame working with the bar. I did trunk extensions by leaning forwards and backwards and then did some pull downs to work on my arms.

Also how cool is my workout t-shirt today!
Did you know you can get it and other cool designs on the Jenn’s Gym website www.jennsgym.co.uk store! Purchases made on the store also raise money to help keep Jenn’s Gym up and running.
