The MyoCycle Racer Shows Amazing Results

Last weekend, we took the MyoCycle Racer out for a spin and unofficially set some new records for FES cycling. The MyoCycle Racer is MYOLYN’s mobile FES tricycle prototype that will be used in the Cybathlon this October. Based on an Atomic Orange Catrike 700, the MyoCycle Racer uses the same FES controller that is found in the other MyoCycle products to stimulate and activate a paralyzed rider’s leg muscles, enabling them to cycle outdoors despite even complete paralysis.

In our testing this weekend, we measured power output and cycling cadence using an SRM PowerMeter and had some amazing results. More official testing is needed before we publish the numbers, so stay tuned for more updates!
