Better sleep patterns, pain management, and reduced spasticity

C6-C7 level incomplete quadriplegic

From Terry's wife, Crystal:

"Terry is a C6-C7 level incomplete quadriplegic with no trunk mobility (from
nipple level down). The MyoCycle has helped to significantly reduce Terry’s
spasticity in his legs. Some days when his legs are tight, he will hook up to the
bike and after a 60-minute session, his legs will become limber and warm. He
has expressed that it has significantly reduced the pain from the tension from
the spasms. The bike has helped increase his blood pressure as it tends to run very
low.

This bike has been life-changing for him. He has noticed that he is gaining
inches in his thighs from stimulating his muscles. Terry has acquired
muscular atrophy due to his injury over the years. This is quite exciting to
him as his legs are looking more muscular!

The MyoCycle has helped with sleep as well! If he uses the bike before going to
bed, it limbers his legs keeping them from being restless and spastic, and
overall, he gets a much better night of sleep. He has been able to cut down on
medication (such as Baclofen and Gabapentin). He no longer uses the
Gabapentin as that medication would leave him feeling groggy at times.
Currently, he is down to only 10mg of Baclofen three times a day!!! That’s a
major improvement.

Overall, the Myocycle has been a blessing to have. I have seen such an
improvement in Terry’s energy levels, sleep patterns, pain management, and
confidence. It has been a game changer when it comes to pain and sleep. His
quality of life has significantly improved. He is anxious to one day upgrade to
the newer version of the system and electrode placements.

Maybe one day we can get the upgrade!"
