Dustin’s Story

T10 Asia B Incomplete

Dustin Dreyfuss lives on a small farm in Pennsylvania and loves spending time with his wife and daughter. He enjoys keeping up an active lifestyle — taking care of his horses, dog, and land.

While cleaning a gutter on his barn, he had a syncopal episode, resulting in a 25 foot fall at the end of 2022. Dustin incurred broken ribs, lung contusions, a lacerated spleen, and spinal cord injury. He was diagnosed with T10 Asia B incomplete and is progressing towards Asia C. Since his injury, he has experienced muscle tone and spasticity issues, as well as atrophy.

After starting the MyoCycle, Dustin has seen improved muscle spasticity, mass, and function. He noted his use of the MyoCycle is positively affecting his recovery in multiple ways, making other therapies more effective as well.

I feel better overall which allows me to be more active in the house and on the farm, as well as playing a larger role in helping take care of my daughter.

MYOLYN staff had the opportunity to serve as a reprieve from the demands of life post-injury. When asked how his customer service experience has been, he said "Fantastic... in the early stages of a catastrophic injury, dealing with healthcare, medical supply companies, etc. becomes a full time job. I can honestly say my interactions with MYOLYN have been the best customer service experience I've had directly tied to my injury, and one of the best I've had period."

Everyone I've interacted with so far at MYOLYN seems to genuinely care and have an investment in maximally improving my quality of life. It's not just a good product, it's the good people that you get with it that turn a good experience into a great one.

As for setting up his MyoCycle, Dustin shared that the booklet provided in the shipment is one of the most pragmatic and thorough set of instructions he's ever worked with.
