Physical therapists can refer patients to MYOLYN directly. If you work with a PT, FES cycling is worth asking them about.
A PT knows the person`s body and goals, and can tell whether FES cycling fits the plan. If it does, our team, including our clinical specialist, Liz, takes it from there: fit, prescription paperwork, funding, and setup.

Paralyzed Veterans of America has updated one of the best free resources we know of for people newly living with a spinal cord injury: "Yes, You Can!", a guide to life after SCI.
It covers the practical things that come up in the first months and years, from health and skin care to equipment, travel and getting back to work, and it`s written for people with SCI and their families, not just veterans. It`s worth bookmarking, and worth passing to anyone in the family doing the research.
