Building Muscle

Debbie Thompson is a 52-year-old mother of three grown boys from southern Missouri who loves being active. MS led to muscle weakness, fatigue, and limited her to wheelchair use, but using her Myocycle has helped her build strength back.
Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (PPMS)

Debbie Thompson is a true boy mom. She loves to spend time outside, take walks, and play with her dogs. Sports and keeping up with her busy household kept her busy in her pre-diagnosis years. “It was always go go go.”

She was diagnosed with MS in 2009. She is now primary progressive and uses a wheelchair. “I have a lot of issues with MS from the waist down with atrophy, muscle weakness, spasms, range of motion circulation, drop foot, fatigue, and a neurogenic bladder.”

She has had her Myocycle since October 2022. Ms. Johnson shared that the Myocyle was “very easy to put together.” She was working out within an hour of putting it together!

In less than a year since starting her Myocycle journey, she has seen muscle in her legs starting to build, her bladder does not bother her as much, and her spasms have slowed down.

“I feel better after a workout. I feel hope that the more I work out, the better things will get. Myocycle gives me the energy to go," Debbie shared with optimism. She believes that where there's a will, there's a way. It's clear she has the drive to build back her strength — and has begun to see results.

Ms. Thompson felt supported by Myolyn's staff from the beginning. “The people I have spoken with have been very knowledgeable and easy to talk with. They work with you, treat you well, and understand what you are asking. Debbie is very easy to talk with, and Liz had very helpful ideas. If I had questions I could call and the employees would have the right answer.”
