As Roy’s MS progressed, he eventually went from a cane user to a wheelchair user. He experienced severe spasticity in his legs and hips, which contributed to needing a wheelchair. His physical therapist used FES technology when possible, so he was already familiar with the benefits of FES treatment. Curious if he could experience these benefits in the comfort of his own home, he eventually discovered the MyoCycle.
Roy loves using his MyoCycle and does so 3 times a week. He’s found that he has better circulation, cardiovascular health, and range of motion the more he uses his MyoCycle. Not only has his physical health improved, but so has his overall quality of life. He told us he now gets to live the active lifestyle he loves and gets to enjoy the great outdoors with his family more often.

Roy loves the ease of access the MyoCycle provides to FES therapy. He told us, “Once my MyoCycle arrived, regular sessions were easily available. Having to coordinate with a Neuro PT, having an FES bike be available, and having insurance coverage available was a crapshoot. Now, I can plan on getting my sessions easily done!”
